The SAR9X Safety Guide is designed to help you accurately modify your factory trigger bar for compatibility with the Stansbury Performance Trigger when using the factory thumb safety. The guide fits securely onto the trigger bar and provides a precise edge to follow with a Dremel® or similar rotary tool, helping you create the necessary clearance with greater consistency. Note: This product is a cutting guide only and requires permanent modification of the trigger bar. Proper installation and function testing are the responsibility of the installer.
The modified edge is highlighted in yellow.
Note- Installation of the trigger disables use of the thumb safety as it alters the trigger bar position.
